Austro-Prussian War period. Gilt bronze, size 8 ¾ with rounded 4.0mm band flaring to the radially engraved shoulders. Raised shield shaped bezel in three horizontal ranks with the top and bottom in rococo drapes and the center vacant. These usually were dated in space, but absent here. These rings were fashionable at the time particularly among Austrian soldiers. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored and is jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.   Handsome, attractive wearable example.
